Wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, women’s ministry leader, entrepreneur, coach, and yes …. I am a caregiver.
We all wear many hats and go by many names/titles throughout our day and life. When we add “caregiver to that list we begin a new chapter, one that we often dive into for any of a number of reasons, only to find ourselves in a place we never imagined, overwhelmed, and wondering if we will be able to “this.”
Caregiving is a journey that takes affects us emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
It’s a journey that when taken without preparation, planning, tools, and/or support can leave the caregivers guilt-ridden, over-burdened, burnt-out; and in the worse cases in need of being cared for!
As a caregiver. I draw from and share these experiences, what I’ve learned and continue to learn.
As a coach. I provide 1:1 coaching that focuses solely on each caregiver and their needs. I teach caregivers four factors they need to be aware of throughout their season of caregiving and how to harness those factors’ power.
I help caregivers enjoy life more and consistently take care of themselves as they take care of others.
When I’m not coaching or wearing one of my other hats, you’ll find me spending time with my Mother-in-Love, preparing to launch my daughter and final child from the nest, savoring conversations that are on a new level with my son who left the nest in 2021. And, making and taking opportunities to get outside and play with my husband and refill my own cup.
